Ramadan Worship Guide — How to Make Ramadan Valuable & Gain Salvation

Ramadan is the most blessed month in Islam. It is the month of mercy, forgiveness, and salvation from Hellfire. A Muslim should try to spend every moment of this month in worship and good deeds.

Men should perform obligatory prayers in congregation, while women should pray on time at home. Sunnah prayers, recitation of the Qur’an, voluntary prayers, Taraweeh, charity, and good character should become part of daily life.

Bad habits like lying, hatred, useless talk, wasting time, and sinful gatherings must be avoided. Fasts should never be missed without a valid Islamic reason.

Below are important deeds that make Ramadan successful.

Basic Worships in Ramadan

Performing Prayers on Time

Offer all five daily prayers regularly. Men should pray in the mosque and women at home. Sunnah prayers before and after Fard are also important.

Recitation of the Qur’an

Make a daily routine of reading the Qur’an with correct pronunciation. Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an.

Taraweeh and Nafl Prayers

Perform Taraweeh every night and try to offer voluntary prayers like Tahajjud, Ishraq, Chasht, and Awwabeen.

Avoiding Sins
